Abstract:
Provided are a rotor in which the position and posture of a permanent magnet can be improved and an electric motor. In a rotor (3), a first rotor core (21) is fixed to a rotating shaft and is formed with a first magnet placement hole (13). A second rotor core (22) is fixed to the rotating shaft side by side with the first rotor core (21) in the shaft center direction (A1) of the rotating shaft and is formed with a second magnet placement hole (18) corresponding to the first magnet placement hole (13). A permanent magnet (11) is placed in a set of the first magnet placement hole (13) and the second magnet placement hole (18). The positions of the first magnet placement hole (13) and the second magnet placement hole (18) are shifted to each other in the circumferential direction (C1) orthogonal to the shaft center direction (A1) of the rotating shaft, and thereby the permanent magnet (11) is positioned within the first magnet placement hole (13) and the second magnet placement hole (18).
