Abstract:
This rotor includes: a columnar rotor core including a plurality of core plates stacked in the thickness direction, and a magnet insertion hole extending in the axial direction; a magnet that is accommodated within the magnet insertion hole and has a plurality of side surfaces extending in the axial direction; and a magnet fixing part that is located between an inner surface of the magnet insertion hole and the magnet and fixes the magnet to the inner surface of the magnet insertion hole. The magnet fixing part includes: an adhesive layer to be adhered to at least one side surface among the plurality of side surfaces of the magnet; and a foam layer that, when foamed, is in contact with the inner surface of the magnet insertion hole opposing the at least one side surface of the magnet. The plurality of core plates include a first core plate including a first protruding part that protrudes out toward the interior of the magnet insertion hole on a first inner surface constituting part of the inner surface of the magnet insertion hole.
