The present invention relates to a wind power generator, and more particularly, to a rotor lock system and method. According to the present invention, provided is a rotor lock system for a wind power generator comprising a rotor position check sensor for final confirmation that a rotor is aligned at a lock position in a rotor lock system for a wind power generator having a rotor lock device for locking a rotor.
