Abstract:
One embodiment of the rotor manufacturing method according to the present invention is a method for manufacturing a rotor comprising a rotor core that can rotate about a central axis and a rotor magnet that is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, wherein the method includes a magnetization step in which the rotor magnet is created by magnetizing a first magnetic member fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core. The rotor core has hole sections that are recessed from a surface on one axial-direction side of the rotor core toward the other axial-direction side. In the magnetization step, the first magnetic member is magnetized in a state in which a second magnetic member formed from a magnetic body has been inserted into each hole section.
