Abstract:
A rotor (12) comprises: a rotor base section (21); a plurality of permanent magnets (22) disposed in a circumferential direction on an outer surface (21a) of the rotor base section; and a scatter prevention member (23) that is mounted so as to be wound around the rotor along outer surfaces (22b) of the plurality of permanent magnets. The scatter prevention member includes a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic material (known as a CFRP material) including a resin base material (23a) and carbon fibers (23b). The scatter prevention member further includes an inner diameter-side section (A1) located on the inner diameter side of the rotor and an outer diameter-side section (A2) located on the outer diameter side of the rotor, and the inner diameter-side section forms a fiber-rich layer and the outer diameter-side section forms a resin-rich layer.
