Abstract:
This rotor has a rotor shaft and is used in a rotating electric machine that is rotationally driven by the magnetic forces of permanent magnets inserted in magnet insertion holes. The rotor has: a rotor core configured by laminating core plates in the axial direction, said core plates being each configured by installing arc-shaped divided cores having the magnetic insertion holes adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction; and end plates each provided at an end portion of the rotor core in the axial direction. The end plates are provided with projection portions projecting toward the magnet insertion holes and locking the inner wall surfaces of the magnet insertion holes on the inner diameter side.
