Abstract:
This rotor has: a shaft; an annular rotor core fixed to the shaft and having a magnet insertion hole; and a permanent magnet disposed in the magnet insertion hole. The rotor core has: a central hole formed at the center of the rotor core in the radial direction and into which the shaft is fitted; a plurality of slits formed in the periphery of the central hole and elongated in the circumferential direction of the rotor core; a rib formed between two slits adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction among the plurality of slits; and a groove portion formed so as to extend from the central hole to the outside in the radial direction. The groove portion is positioned on the inside of the rib in the radial direction. The width T of the rib in the circumferential direction and the width W of the groove portion in the circumferential direction satisfy the relationship of T > W.
