Abstract:
A rotor of a motor, comprising a magnetic material-made base plate (13) connected to a rotating shaft (12), an outward swing type rotor core (18) installed on the base plate (13) and having a projected part (20) axially projecting from both the base plate (13) and the teeth (5) of a stator (1), a plurality of magnet insert parts (23) formed in the rotor core (18), and a plurality of rotor magnets (24) inserted into the plurality of magnet insert parts (23) and magnetized into different poles on both the stator (1) side and anti-stator (1) side faces. Position sensors (8) positioned at the projected part (20) and detecting the rotating position of the rotor core (18) are arranged at the outer peripheral face or axial end face of the rotor core (18) so as to be opposed to each other in the radial or axial direction.
