This rotor is provided with a shaft, a rotor core, and a rotor magnet. The rotor core has a central hole in which the shaft is press-fitted, and a plurality of through-holes which are arranged in a circumferential direction and overlap fitting protrusions in a radial direction. The central hole has an inner peripheral surface having the fitting protrusions arranged in the circumferential direction. In each of the through-holes, a virtual circle which is included in the through-hole when viewed in an axial direction is assumed. The through-holes have an inner peripheral surface including: a first side portion which is positioned on the radially inner side with respect to the virtual circle and extends in the circumferential direction; a second side portion which is positioned on one side in the circumferential direction with respect to the virtual circle and extends in the radial direction; and a third side portion which is positioned on the other side in the circumferential direction with respect to the virtual circle and extends in the radial direction. The second side portion and the third side portion touch the virtual circle. The first side portion, when viewed in the axial direction, extends linearly or in a radially outwardly curved manner.
