Abstract:
A rotor according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a shaft; a rotor core; a plurality of magnets positioned on the radially outer side of the rotor core and arranged circumferentially; a rotor cover including a cylindrical portion enclosing the rotor core and the magnets on the radially outer side of the magnets; and a resin portion linking and holding the rotor core and the magnets together. The resin portion includes a first lid portion positioned on the axially one side of the rotor core and the magnets. The rotor cover includes a flange portion disposed on the axially one side of the first lid portion and protruding from the cylindrical portion toward the radially inner side. The first lid portion has a recess which is depressed from a surface on the axially one side of the first lid portion toward the axially other side. The recess, when viewed axially, is positioned in a position overlapping a gap between magnets circumferentially adjacent to each other. The flange portion includes a first swaging portion swaged on the axially other side. The first swaging portion is positioned inside the recess.
