Abstract:
A rotor for rotary electric machine is equipped with a cylindrical yoke, a holder attached to the inner circumferential surface of the yoke, and multiple permanent magnets arranged in the holder at set intervals in the circumferential direction. The holder is configured from divided holders which are divided in the circumferential direction or the axial direction of the yoke. The divided holders have a permanent magnet holding part, which holds one or more of the multiple permanent magnets, and an opening provided between each permanent magnet and the yoke.
