Abstract:
This rotor for a rotary electric machine is provided with: a rotor core; an end plate provided to an end section of the rotor core in the axial direction of the rotor core; and a shaft that axially passes through each of the rotor core and the end plate, wherein the end plate has an annular flat plate part making contact with the rotor core, and a warped part that is provided closer to the inner peripheral side than the flat plate part and makes contact with the shaft, and the warped part is warped so as to be farther away from the flat plate part, as being farther away from the rotor core in the radial direction cross section of the end plate.
