Abstract:
This rotor for a rotary electric machine has a first magnet group provided to a first core member, and a second magnet group provided to a second core member which are arranged so as to be adjacent to each other in the axial direction. The first magnet group has a plurality of first magnets arranged side by side in the circumferential direction. The second magnet group has a plurality of second magnets arranged side by side in the circumferential direction. The first and second magnets adjacent to each other and having the same polarity are displaced in the circumferential direction by a specific angle. Either the first or second core member is provided with a first recess, whereas the other is provided with a first projection to be engaged with the first recess in the circumferential direction.
