Abstract:
Provided is a rotor (1b) including a rotor core (4) having a cylindrical shape in which a through-hole (3a) is formed, and provided with a plurality of pairs of d-axes and q-axes, and a shaft (2) inserted into the through-hole (3a), wherein: the rotor core (4) is provided with a flux barrier (4b) that interferes with a magnetic flux in the q-axis direction, and a plurality of magnetic paths (4a) from one of two d-axes circumferentially adjacent to each other toward the other d-axis; the inner circumferential surface (3b) of the rotor core (4) and the outer circumferential surface (2a) of the shaft (2) respectively have planar portions (3b1, 2a1) extending in an axial direction of a rotational central axis; in the cross section perpendicular to the rotational central axis, the flux barrier (4b) is curved such that the through-hole (3a) side is convex; and the vertex (4f) of a curved flux barrier (4b1) on the innermost circumference side is located within a region surrounded by the planar portion (3b1) and two line segments (3d) parallel to the normal vector (5) of the planar portion (3b1) and passing through an end (3c) of the planar portion (3b1).
