Abstract:
The rotor according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided in a rotating electrical machine, faces a stator, and rotates about the central axis. The rotor comprises: a plurality of magnetic pole portions that are arranged along the circumferential direction about the central axis; and a rotor core that supports the magnetic pole portions from one side in the radial direction. The magnetic pole portions each have: a main magnet in which the radial direction is set to a magnetization direction; and auxiliary magnets which are disposed symmetrically to each other on the outer sides of the main magnet in the circumferential direction and in which a direction tilted in the circumferential direction with respect to the radial direction is set as a magnetization direction. The rotor core has a recessed portion that faces the inside of the main magnet in the radial direction, houses a portion-to-be-supported of the main magnet, and is recessed inward in the radial direction.
