Abstract:
An ebullient cooling type rotor shaft according to the present invention is inserted through the axial center of a rotor core, is supported by two bearings, and rotates integrally with the rotor core. It is also possible to provide the ebullient cooling type rotor shaft having stable and high cooling performance that has a sealed space filled with refrigerant extending from the insertion part surrounded by the rotor core to the shaft end part outside the rotor core. The inner diameter of the sealed space is larger at the insertion part than at the shaft end part, with a lattice structure formed in the entire sealed space. The refrigerant is cooled and condensed by a cooling unit formed at least at one of the shaft end parts, and it is therefore possible to separate the condensation point and the boiling point of the refrigerant.
