Abstract:
Provided is a rotor that can improve torque and a rotational rate while maintaining mechanical strength. The present invention is provided with: a plurality of outer-diameter-side magnet grooves 12, 13; a plurality of inner-diameter-side magnet grooves 14, 15; a plurality of outer-diameter-side magnets 21, 22 that fit into the respective outer-diameter-side magnet grooves 12, 13; and a plurality of inner-diameter-side magnets 23, 24 that fit into the respective inner-diameter-side magnet grooves 14, 15. Where the radial length of recessed sections 12c, 13c that are closest to a d-axis among recessed sections 12a–12d, 13a–13d of the outer-diameter-side magnet grooves 12, 13 is Lb1, and the radial length of recessed sections 14d, 15d that are closest to the d-axis among recessed sections of the inner-diameter-side magnet grooves 14, 15, is Lb2, then Lb2 > Lb1 is satisfied.
