Abstract:
A novel rotorcraft includes a fuselage (5), a main shaft (2), rotary wings (1), a horizontal driving clutch (15), a power system, a rudder (4) and horizontal propellant rotors (3), wherein the rotary wings use the torsion adjustable wings, which can vary from the positive pitch and negative torsion to the negative pitch and positive torsion. It uses the power system to drive the rotary wing with positive pitch, and takes-off and lands vertically as a helicopter. It takes use of self-gyrating blades, which have an automatic distance limitation system and are driven by the rotors (3), and it hovers as a gyroplane. Thus when hovering it can stop the main gearbox and the pitch-adjusting system, thereby significantly improves its security and decreases the cost. It combines the advantages of the helicopter and the gyroplane. Its advantages are vertical taking-off or landing, low noise, and low cost.
