Abstract:
A round metal pipe 1 having a bend part 10, wherein in a cross-section in a direction of an axis of the bend part 10, an outer-half part 11b of a peripheral wall part 11 of the bend part 10 is formed in a non-circular-arcuate outwardly convex shape in which a center part in a y direction orthogonal to a bend radius direction x of the bend part 10 is configured as an outermost peripheral part 13, and in which the distance Lb from an intermediate part 15 between the outermost peripheral part 13 and a pair of proximal end parts 14 of the outer-half part 11b to a pipe center O is less than the distance La from the outermost peripheral part 13 to the pipe center O. This makes it possible to easily and suitably manufacture the round metal pipe 1, in which are obtained advantages such as suppressing reductions in the cross-sectional area or smallest inside width of the bend part 10 and reducing flow path resistance.
