Abstract:
A route guidance device (100) has a detection section (101) for finding a left/right turning point in a preset route through which route a mobile body has not passed; a search section (102) for searching for, before the mobile body passes the left/right turning point found by the detection section (101), a bypass route when the mobile body does not turn to the left/right at the left/right turning point as instructed by the preset route; a calculation section (103) for calculating cost information on the bypass route and cost information on a direct route that is a route out of the preset route and runs from the left/right turning point up to a point where the preset route meets the bypass route; a determination section (104) for determining the level of importance of the left/right turning point based on the cost information calculated by the calculation section (103); and an output section (105) for outputting, before the mobile body passes the left/right turning point, alarm information on the left/right turning point based on the level of importance determined by the determination section (104).
