Abstract:

The times (TKOi, TKIi) taken for a vehicle detected by traffic stream detecting means (4a, 4b) to pass through the section (3a) when the vehicle travels on the inner circle (1a) of a belt highway and through the section (3b) when it travels on the outer circle (1b) are calculated; the time (TOi) taken for the vehicle to reach the section (3b) when the vehicle travels on the outer circle from a specific point where the vehicle enters the belt highway is calculated; and the time (TIi) taken for the vehicle to reach the section (3a) when the vehicle travels on the inner circle from the specific point is calculated. From those times, the place (OTE) where the vehicle reaches in the same time from the specific point through the inner and outer circles is found and reported to the driver.
