Abstract:
A route information display device for calculating branch-off points in a route up
to inputted destinations and controlling modes of information using the branch-off points.
The route information display device has a departure point input section (1012)
for detecting the current position of a user; a plural-destination input section
(1004) for receiving inputs of destinations; a route search section (1005) for
searching for individual routes to the destinations from the current position;
a branch-off point calculation section (1007) for calculating branch-off points
for each of the searched routes; and a route information display section (1011)
for calculating the branch-off points for each route searched. The route information
display device calculates branch-off points for inputted destinations and
provides information considering the branch-off points, thereby assisting the
user to understand the information easily.
