Abstract:
A router database synchronization method. During database synchronization, topology link state packets and leaf link state packets are classified in a link state routing protocol. That is, a database is synchronized according to the importance of different classifications. Topology link state packets, which are of high importance, are synchronized first. After the synchronization of topology link state packets is completed, leaf link state packets, which are less important, are synchronized. Also provided are a router database synchronization device, and a router and a system thereof.
