Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a routing device, a load balancing device, and a message distribution method and system. The routing device comprises a fault detection module, a distribution device determining module, and a sending module. When detecting that a fault occurs on a first load balancing device bearing a session distribution task, a routing device determines, according to an equal-cost routing rule, that a second load balancing device carries a subsequent message of a session, and distributes the subsequent message of the session to a second load balancing device by means of an interface address that is only valid between the routing device and the second load balancing device; in the process, an external network element just needs to send the message of the session to the routing device, the interface address in the message of the session does not need to be modified, and a call loss situation will not occur, thereby improving the session quality.
