Abstract:
A routing structure for a wire harness for a slide seat is configured so that the wire harness can be disposed in a small space under the seat. A wire harness having an extra length section is routed between a slide seat mounted in an automobile and the automobile body. The wire harness is externally covered with a caterpillar-shaped outer cover material which is formed by sequentially connecting square frame blocks by hinge sections and which can bend only in one direction, the square frame blocks having formed therein wire harness insertion spaces. A support shaft member which protrudes from a side surface of one end in the longitudinal direction of the outer cover material is mounted to the slide seat through a rotation clamp in a vertically rotatable manner, the side surface being located on the side of the outer cover member which is mounted to the seat. The direction of the side of the outer cover member which is mounted to the seat can be changed to the horizontal direction and the vertical direction. The side of the outer cover member which is mounted to a floor is affixed to the automobile body through a U-shaped wiring section, one end of which in the front-rear direction is bent.
