Title:
ROUTING AND WAVELENGTH ASSIGNMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS BASED ON ALL-OPTICAL WAVELENGTH CONVERSION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/029127
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention is a routing and wavelength assignment method based on all-optical wavelength conversion. The method comprises the following steps: introducing an all-optical wavelength converter into a network; placing a corresponding number of all-optical wavelength converters in each network node according to a sparse wavelength converter placement principle; and establishing an optical channel for a service, wherein establishing an optical channel comprises the following steps: establishing an OSNR sensing routing and wavelength assignment algorithm model, wherein the OSNR sensing routing and wavelength assignment algorithm model comprises a transmission loss, ASE noise, and OSNR damage; calculating an OSNR of each route by using the OSNR sensing routing and wavelength assignment algorithm model; and establishing the optical channel by using the routing with the highest OSNR, so as to complete wavelength assignment. By means of the present invention, the cost of all-optical wavelength conversion and the effect of OSNR damage on the improvement of network performance can be reduced.
