An encryption method performs processing by using a message M, a secret key d composed of one bit of 0th to (1-1)th, and a public modular N, and comprises the steps of: (a1) extending the public modular N to N'; (a2) initializing values of a first register S[0] and a second register S[1]; (a3) updating the values of the first register S[0] and the second register S[1] by using the 0th to (1-1)th bits of the secret key d; and (a4) performing a conformity test.
