Abstract:
The present invention provides a rubber composition which contains at least a NBR as a rubber component and in which adhesive properties between a rubber and a metal are at least equivalent to those exhibited by a rubber composition that contains a cobalt salt. This rubber composition contains a rubber component and a rubber-metal adhesion promoter. The rubber component contains a NBR at a quantity of at least 10 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. The rubber-metal adhesion promoter includes one or more types selected from the group consisting of (1) metal salts of aliphatic carboxylic acids and (2) compounds having a specific structure.
