Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method of a rubber composition formed by combining a rubber component (A) which comprises a natural rubber and/or a synthetic diene rubber, a filling material which contains an inorganic filling material (B), a silane coupling agent (C), and at least one type of vulcanization accelerator (D) selected from specific compounds, said method characterized by mixing the rubber composition in multiple stages: in a first mixing stage (X), a part (A') of said rubber component (A), all or a part of the inorganic filler material (B), all or a part of the silane coupling agent (C), and all or a part of the vulcanization accelerator (D) are added and mixed together, and in subsequent mixing stages, the rest (A") of the rubber component (A) is added and mixed together. This manufacturing method can increase activity of the coupling function of the silane coupling agent to obtain a rubber composition with favorably low heat generation.
