Abstract:
This rubber composition is obtained by incorporating carbon black having a DBP oil absorption amount of 100 ml/100 g or more and an iodine value of 75-90 g/kg at a proportion of 20-60 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of an ethylene·butene·5-ethylidene-2-norbornene terpolymer. The rubber composition exhibits reduced adhesion to a surface of a kneader, and especially an open roll kneader, from the perspective of kneadability. This rubber composition can achieve stable, safe productivity and can be used in a sealing component that requires a high-pressure gas sealing function in a low temperature environment such as approximately -30 to -60ºC.
