Abstract:

The present invention provides: a rubber composition obtained by mixing, per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising at least 50 mass% of a diene-based rubber, 20-150 parts by mass of a filler, and 0.05-30 parts by mass of compound (A) which has a specific amidine structure, and a functional group that reacts with the diene-based rubber, said rubber composition being capable of simultaneously improving a high elastic modulus and a low tanδ; and a pneumatic tire in which said rubber composition is used.
