Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pneumatic tire with both wear resistance and low heat generation. The present invention is a pneumatic tire with treads comprising a rubber composition that contains an isoprene-based rubber and a high-cis butadiene rubber with a cis content of at least 90% by mass, at least one type of carbon black, and sulfur, wherein the at least one type of carbon black is a carbon black obtained by using, as a raw-material oil for manufacturing the carbon black, a raw-material oil with: a BMCI value of 150 or less, calculated from the formula below using an average boiling point T (°C) and a specific gravity D (60/60°F) when compared to water at 60°F; and an aliphatic hydrocarbon ratio of at least 30% by mass. BMCI = 48640 / (T + 273) + 473.7D − 456.8
