Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a retreaded tire having high resistance to crack growth, in particular, a heavy-duty retreaded tire including one for aircrafts, by configuring the retreaded tire so as to include a case rubber obtained from a rubber composition for tires which has a specific aggregate density and a specific makeup. The rubber composition is less apt to develop aggregates having a relatively large particle diameter, which can be a cause of rubber cracking. The retreaded tire of the present invention is characterized by including a case rubber obtained from a rubber composition in which, when a cross-section of the rubber composition is examined with a dispergrader in accordance with ASTM D7723, then the integrated amount of white areas each having a particle diameter of 29 µm or larger is 15% or less of the integrated amount of white areas each having a particle diameter of 3-57 µm. The rubber composition contains zinc oxide, a fatty acid, and a fatty acid zinc salt in a total amount of 2 parts by weight or greater but less than 13 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the rubber.
