Abstract:
The present invention provides a run-flat tire with outstanding high-temperature softening suppression and a rubber composition with which the tire can be manufactured. This rubber composition includes a rubber constituent, a filler, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization promoter that includes a sulfenamide-based vulcanization promoter and 1.0–2.0 parts by mass of tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber constituent; the mass ratio (a/b) of the tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide content (a) and the sulfenamide-based vulcanization promoter content (b) is 0.60–1.25.
