Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a rubber composition which can give a rubber having properly regulated electrical conductivity for rendering the rubber suitable for use in semicontinuous marine hoses; and a semicontinuous marine hose. The present invention relates to: a rubber composition for semicontinuous marine hoses which comprises one or more diene-based rubbers comprising natural rubber and/or a styrene/butadiene rubber and carbon black, wherein the carbon black is contained in a volume proportion of 14-18% and has a volume resistivity of 1.0×103 to 5.0×104 Ω·cm; and a semicontinuous marine hose formed using the rubber composition for semicontinuous marine hoses.
