Abstract:
Disclosed is a rubber composition which has excellent processability, is improved in a storage modulus (G’) at a lower temperature and a loss tangent (tanδ), and is also improved in wear resistance.  More specifically, the rubber composition is characterized by comprising: 100 parts by mass of a high-molecular-weight polymer component (A) which contains an aromatic vinyl compound bound therein in an amount of 80 mass% or less and has a weight average molecular weight of 1.5×105 or more in terms of polystyrene content; more than 1 part by mass and less than 30 parts by mass of a low-molecular-weight polymer component (B) which contains an aromatic vinyl compound bound therein in an amount of less than 30 mass% and has a weight average molecular weight of 0.2×104 to 8.0×104 in terms of polystyrene content; and 5 parts by mass or more of a filler (C), wherein the amount (S2) (mass%) of an aromatic vinyl compound bound in the low-molecular-weight polymer component (B) and the amount (V2) (%) of a vinyl bound in a conjugated diene compound moiety in the low-molecular-weight polymer component (B) meet the relationship represented by the following formula (I): S2 + V2/2 < 25.
