Abstract:

The present invention provides: a rubber composition for a tire, said composition making it possible to improve, in a well-balanced manner, steering stability, crack resistance, ozone resistance, discoloration resistance, tire appearance, fuel efficiency, fracture strength, and scorch resistance; and a pneumatic tire using said rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tire, wherein the total content of butadiene rubber, natural rubber, and isoprene rubber is 90 mass% or more out of 100 mass% of the rubber components, said composition including sulfur and at least one type of non-ionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of nonionic surfactants represented by formula (1) and/or formula (2), and pluronic nonionic surfactants, including 2-70 parts by mass of carbon black and 1-5 parts by mass of silica in relation to 100 parts by mass of the rubber components, and not including a silane coupling agent. In formula (1), R1 represents a C6-26 hydrocarbon group having an unsaturated bond. d represents an integer. In formula (2), R2 and R3 are the same or different and represent a C6-26 hydrocarbon group. e represents an integer.
