Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition for tires, said composition having a large elongation at break and demonstrating superior rigidity, durability, and wear resistance when formed into a tire, as well as to provide a pneumatic tire using said rubber composition. This rubber composition for tires contains 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber (A) and 1-60 parts by mass of organic microparticles (B), wherein the average particle diameter of the organic microparticles (B) is 0.001-100μm, and the organic microparticles (B) have a complex composition formed from a compatible component that is compatible with the diene rubber (A) and an incompatible component that is not compatible with the diene rubber (A), said complex composition having an inner part in which there is more of the incompatible component than the compatible component and an outer part in which there is more of the compatible component than the incompatible component, said outer part covering at least one section of the inner part.
