Abstract:
A rubber composition for tires which comprises a rubber ingredient comprising a diene-based rubber, silica, and an ether ester represented by general formula (1). In formula (1), R1 and R2 each represent a C8-30 hydrocarbon group, R3 represents a C1-30 hydrocarbon group, R4 and R5 each represent a C2-4 alkylene group, and a and b each indicate the average number of moles of added oxyalkylene groups, 60 mass% or more of the (R4O)a and (OR5)b moieties being oxyethylene groups. The rubber composition is used to produce a pneumatic tire.
