Abstract:
A rubber composition which contains 5 to 120 parts by mass of a low-molecular weight aromatic vinyl compound-diene compound copolymer (B) that has a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 to 300,000 (as determined by gel permeation chromatography in terms of polystyrene) relative to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component (A) comprising a natural rubber and/or a synthetic diene rubber, the copolymer (B) being a copolymer comprising 0 to 80% by mass of the aromatic vinyl compound, having a content of vinyl bonds of 0 to 80% in the moieties from the diene compound, and bearing at least one crosslinking functional group at the terminal; and a tire produced using the rubber composition.
