Title:
RUBBER COMPOSITION, AND TIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/056383
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a rubber composition which is capable of improving steering stability and wet performance of a tire, while reducing rolling resistance thereof. Accordingly, this rubber composition is characterized by including: a rubber component (A) including a natural rubber (A1), and a modified diene rubber (A2) having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -50˚C or lower; a thermoplastic resin (B); and silica (C) of which the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide adsorption specific surface area (CTAB) (m2/g) and the ink bottle-like pore index (IB) satisfy the relationship in formula (Y), namely IB≤-0.36×CTAB+86.8. The rubber composition is further characterized in that the blended amount of the thermoplastic resin (B) is 10-50 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A).
