Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a rubber composition with which it is possible to suppress cracking and discoloration of a tire surface. To solve this problem, the present invention provides a rubber composition that contains a rubber component (A), a quinoline-based antioxidant (B) containing a polymer of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline, and N-phenyl-N'-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-p-phenylenediamine (C), wherein the rubber composition is characterized in that the contained amount of the quinoline-based antioxidant (B) is 0.1-1.5% by mass in terms of the total amount of the rubber composition, and the total contained amount of dimers and trimers of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline in the quinoline-based antioxidant (B) is 60%by mass or higher.
