Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a rubber composition having excellent low loss properties and snow-gripping capability, without lowering the wet-gripping capability; and a tire using the same. To this end, this rubber composition is characterized by including: a rubber component containing 50 mass% or more of a natural rubber and a modified styrene-butadiene rubber containing 1-20 mass% of styrene; a resin having a glass transition temperature (Tg) that is higher than 0oC; and a low-temperature plasticizer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) that is lower than -50oC.
