Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a rubber composition capable of improving the low-loss characteristics and steering stability of tires. The rubber composition comprises a rubber component, a hydrogenated resin, and a filler, and is characterized in that the rubber component comprises a modified conjugated-diene-based polymer which is a product of reaction between a conjugated-diene-based polymer having an active terminal and a compound [M] having, in total, two or more groups selected from among -CR1=N-A1 groups and -N=CR1-A1 groups (R1 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl group and A1 is a monovalent group having an alkoxysilyl group), the hydrogenated resin has a softening point higher than 110°C and a weight-average molecular weight of 200-1200 g/mol in terms of polystyrene, and the filler comprises silica.
