Abstract:

The present invention provides: a rubber composition for tires, which is capable of improving wear resistance; and a pneumatic tire which uses this rubber composition for tires. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, which is characterized by containing 3-250 parts by mass of a reinforcing filler and 0.2-10 parts by mass of a specific tetrazine compound relative to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component that contains an isoprene rubber, a butadiene rubber and a styrene butadiene rubber in an amount of 80% by mass or more in total.
