Abstract:
A rubber composition for treads, which contains 10-30 parts by mass of a carbon black A that has an iodine adsorption of 130 mg/g or more and 20-50 parts by mass of a carbon black B that has an iodine adsorption of 110 mg/g or more but less than 130 mg/g per 100 parts by mass of a rubber component that contains 25-45% by mass of a styrene-butadiene rubber which has a styrene content of 15% by mass or less and a vinyl content of 30-50% by mole, 45-65% by mass of an isoprene rubber and 5-15% by mass of a butadiene rubber. This rubber composition for treads is configured such that if X (parts by mass) is the content of the carbon black A, the content of the carbon black B is from 0.6X to 4.5X (parts by mass).
