Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a rubber composition for tyres that improves, in a well-balanced manner, low-fuel consumption, wear resistance, wet-weather performance and steering stability of tyres; and a pneumatic tyre using the rubber composition for tyres. The present invention pertains to a rubber composition for tyres, containing a modified diene rubber having a functional group that is reactive with silica, fine-particle silica having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of at least 180m2/g, and a silane coupling agent represented by a specific formula.
