Abstract:

Provided are: a rubber composition which gives a vulcanized rubber improved in all of oil resistance, freeze resistance, and ozone resistance; and a molded article comprising said vulcanized rubber. The rubber composition comprises 50-99 parts by mass of one or more chloroprene rubbers containing 0.01-20 mass% units of an unsaturated nitrile monomer and 1-50 parts by mass of an unconjugated-diene-based rubber. The chloroprene rubbers can comprise rubber A, which comprises 1-40 mass% units of an unsaturated nitrile monomer, 40-99 mass% units of a chloroprene monomer, and 0-20 mass% units of one or more other copolymerizable monomers, and rubber B, which comprises 80-100 mass% units of a chloroprene monomer and 0-20 mass% units of one or more other copolymerizable monomers. The rubber composition gives vulcanized rubbers which are suitable for use as molded articles such as rubber members for motor vehicles, hoses, and shaped rubber objects.
