Abstract:
This rubber composition comprises a rubber component and a short fiber resin D1 which has a ratio A/B of greater than 1, where, given a cross section taken perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, A is the length of the cross section along a long diameter thereof and B is the length of the cross section along a short diameter thereof that is perpendicular to the long diameter. Vulcanized rubber that has a large suction force can be obtained from the rubber composition. The present invention also provides the vulcanized rubber that has a large suction force, a tire that has an excellent on-ice performance, and a studless tire that has an excellent on-ice performance.
