Title:
RUBBER COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/151148
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition which has improved adhesion to steel cords and improved tire durability in comparison to conventional rubber compositions. A rubber composition which is obtained by blending 40-80 parts by mass of carbon black and a cobalt borate neodecanoate represented by chemical formula (1), a phenolic resin, a curing agent, sulfur and a vulcanization accelerator into 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber that contains a natural rubber, and which is characterized in that: the carbon black has a DBP oil absorption of from 50 × 10-5 m3/kg to 80 × 10-5 m3/kg and an iodine adsorption of from 100 g/kg to 150 g/kg; a vulcanized rubber thereof has a dynamic storage elastic modulus (E') of 8 MPa or more at a dynamic strain of 2% at 20°C, a loss tangent (tan δ) of 0.20 or less at 60°C, and a number of repetition until breakage of 45,000 or more in a constant strain fatigue test at a strain of 60% at 400 rpm.
